This week we hear from Pastor Melo Sauval as we begin our new teaching series in the book of Genesis: In the Beginning. In this message from Genesis 1:1–2, we reflect on what it means that all of life starts not with us—but with God. Before there was light or life, God was already present, already working, already creating. We’re reminded that God is not just a part of our lives—He is the Author of the entire story. “God is not a part of your story. You’re a part of His.” From the Spirit hovering over the waters to the Word speaking creation into being, we see the Trinity at work—and the invitation to begin everything with Him. ⸻ We hope that this resource complements being in a community with a local gospel-centered church when unable to attend in person.
